About Me

Funny how a chance opportunity can quickly become a passion. In late 1999, a job interview for a job I was sure I wouldn’t get became a career as a senior editor for a national trade magazine. I became passionate about business and technical issues, enough to make it my specialty when I started my writing business nearly four years later.

I have a BA in Business Communications from Rosemont College and additional education and course work in Journalism from various colleges and universities. Add to that more than 20 years of writing experience, including writing for publications, corporations, small to mid-sized businesses, and individuals, covering topics including finance, health care, workers compensation, and sales/marketing. With well over 200 articles in various business and trade publications, I deliver compelling, relevant content that improves your message and can help boost profitability.

Hailing from western PA, I love all things black and gold. As a writer and editor, I’m a big fan of the serial comma and a hater of the paradigm shift. Currently, I live in southeastern Pennsylvania, where I have one husband, two children, two stepchildren, and a mean four-fingered whistle I perfected as a child while sitting in church.

Are you ready to get your message across? Then I’m ready to be your consultant. I have experience using the following:

  • Associated Press Stylebook
  • Chicago Manual of Style
  • AMA Manual of Style
  • APA format
  • MLS format
