Sometimes, careers find us.
If you’d told me 15 years ago I’d be writing about insurance and risk management, I’d have thought you needed a neurologist. However, one job interview later, I was suddenly senior editor for a national trade magazine writing about, you guessed it, those very topics.
It’s funny how a chance opportunity can quickly become a passion. I became captivated by all things technical, enough to make it my specialty when I started my writing business nearly four years later.
I have a BA in Business Communications from Rosemont College and additional education and course work in Journalism from various colleges and universities. Add to that more than 20 years of writing experience, including writing for publications, corporations, small to mid-sized businesses, and individuals, covering topics including finance, health care, workers compensation, and sales/marketing. With over 2oo articles in various business and trade publications, I deliver compelling, relevant content that improves your message and can help boost profitability.
Hailing from western PA, I love all things black and gold. As a writer and editor, I’m a big fan of the serial comma and a hater of the paradigm shift. Currently, I live in southeastern Pennsylvania, where I have one husband, two children, two stepchildren, and a mean four-fingered whistle I perfected as a child while sitting in church.
Are you ready to get your message across? Then I’m ready to be your consultant. I have experience using the following:
